I'm in Greenville, Illinois right now where my daughter is attending a basketball camp. I went to dinner tonight with a couple of friends that I went to high school with. Our daughters are all the same age. We had a really good time visiting over dinner.
One of our dinner conversations was about Jamie Foxx. In May, I watched as he was on a country music special that was honoring George Strait as the country music "artist of the decade". I, being totally out of the loop, didn't even realize that Jamie Foxx could sing. So, when he took the mic and did his rendition of George Strait's hit, "You Look So Good In Love", I was CAPTIVATED. It was absolutely incredible. After it was over, I rewound it, and called my whole family in to watch it, I was so impressed with how he took the song and made it his own....
My friend Lisa, whom I dined with tonight was equally impressed by his performance.
