I don’t have all the answers, and I won’t claim to.

It makes me somewhat crazy when people try to put God into a box.  Though even I, admittedly, would like to try to put Him there.  To be able to wrap all the greatness of God and pieces of this life into a nice, tidy, neat little box, and present it to you as a gift.  Yet, so far in this journey, I’ve not been able to contain Him in such a way.  He's uncontainable.

Often times, we’re guilty of taking what God personally does in our lives and presenting Him to you as if that’s the specific way He will always work.  For example, Moses could have done this after God spoke to Him in a burning bush. He could have ran out and told everyone, “God will speak to you through a burning bush!”  When in fact, we know through the Word, that God spoke to people in many different ways. And yet, there are indeed Biblical truths that each of us can hold onto.  Truths that we can stand on, and apply to our own lives.

My hope would be that as we do life together, whether in real life physical communities, or in our online communities, that we would discover Biblical truths together.  That we could learn to live abundantly because of those truths.  That I would live my personal walk with Jesus out loud, in a transparent way, giving testimony to the way He meets me on this journey, so that you may be encouraged to walk closely with Him too.  That we all might, “act justly, love mercy, and live humbly with our God.”  Micah 6:8

FAMILY: Married to Denny, my high school sweetheart.  We have three children, one married, two still at home: Will, (and his wife Allison), Maren, and Joshua

SOUL SAVING MOMENT:  Junior High.  My parents were going through a divorce.  My Mom took me to a Dallas Holm concert.  Dallas gave an invitation to meet Jesus.  While He sang his song, “Rise Again”, I said “yes”, to Christ.  When my family was falling apart, I met Jesus, and I put my hope in Him.

WORSHIP MINISTRY:  I’ve had the privilege of leading worship with small groups of people, 30 or less. And, having ministered with many nationally known Women of Faith and Proverbs 31 Ministry speakers, I’ve had the privilege of leading worship with large groups of people. I have loved experiencing God in both places.  All groups. Whether large or small, in spirit and in truth, let’s worship Him together.

WRITINGS:  Some of my devotions and articles have been published by Proverbs 31 Ministries in the P31 Magazine, Encouragement for Today daily devotions, and used as content on the Proverbs 31 radio show hosted by Lysa TerKeurst and Renee Swope.
