I've seen where other bloggers do "live" blogging. I "get" it, but it always kind of cracks me up. I thought all blogging was live blogging. So, right now, live at the Milbourn's, we're sitting around relaxing, watching Idol, and visiting with Will's friend Jordan.
Will is doing much better, thank you for all of your prayers. He asked if a friend could come over tonight. He hasn't really been around anyone other than us, since two weeks ago tomorrow.
He goes back to the doctor on Thursday. Here's something funny, the nurse practitioner that sees him at the orthapaedics office is named Ms. Bonebraker...that cracked me up. So, our dentist is Jess Holler, and our orthapaedics caregiver is Ms. Bonebraker. I think we'll start selecting all of our caregivers by their names.
Alright, that's all I've got for now. Celery's back in town Thursday...hmmm...Cathy and I might have to go on another quest. Say a prayer for Cathy, her Mama died on Friday. They had her funeral today.

Update on Will Milbourn
As most of you already know, Will, our oldest boy, broke his leg while trying to be Tony Hawk on the skateboard. Actually, he wasn't really doing anything silly at all, he just stepped off of it wrong...really wrong.
He broke two bones. The tibia and fibula. Last Thursday the Doctor did a closed reduction (I think that's what it's called) surgery. which means they attempted to manipulate the bones back into place without making an incision.
Today, he went back for a check up, and unfortunately things had not stayed properly aligned, so tomorrow he goes back in for more surgery. This time, they'll put a plate and screws in.
Thus far, his pain has not been too severe, thankfully. And his attitude has been absolutely AMAZING! He has handled this like a real champ. My biggest challenge with him right now is getting him to understand how important it is that he keeps up with his school work!!
Anyway, I know many have prayed for him/us, and we greatly appreciate that, and ask that you will continue to pray. Thanks!!

I was in the hospital with Will Milbourn during the earthquake. The WHOLE building shook, and my prayer life immediately increased!
I said, "Son, that's either an earthquake, or Godzilla's walking by..."
Okay, I didn't really say that. But it was QUITE an experience!

Don't Let Me Miss the Glory
Do you ever read a sentence or a paragraph of a book, and then read it again, and again, and again? This weekend we took the kids and got the heck out of Dodge. We went to Nashville. I don’t think we’d been anywhere by ourselves, as a family, since last April. It was SOOO good to just get away.
Saturday afternoon the kids went swimming, and I sat by the pool reading a book called “Downpour” by James McDonald. In it, he was explaining what revival IS and what it ISN’T. In his description of what revival IS he says this, “Revival is: God, gladly at the center of my life, experienced and enjoyed. I see God working. He’s working in my life, and I’m loving it more and more. That’s revival.”
I read that paragraph, and then I pondered ALL that God has going on in my life. Then I read it again, and I pondered some more. Then I read it again, and again, and again. I sat by the pool for an hour reading this book, and only covered one paragraph. I couldn’t go on. I couldn’t get past it. The only thing I would change about it if I were writing it myself is, I would say, “He’s working in my life, and I’m loving HIM more and more. That’s revival.”
To be head over heels in love with Jesus. I pray that you who are reading this experience what the above paragraph describes. That you look around and see all that God is doing in your life. That you don’t miss the glory. That as you go about your average day that you see His wonder and His grand design. That you will wholly surrender yourself to Him, daily. Oh that I will wholly surrender myself to Him daily.

Going to see the Big Wigs?
Since I did my Hillary series (yes, I called her Hillary instead of Celery) I've had MANY ask me if I was going to see Chelsea (when she was in town), or if I'm going to see Bill, or O'bama (who will both be in town tomorrow), and the answer is no, no, and no.
I'm not traditionally into politics. I've paid more attention this year simply due to the amount of media time it's been given. But I didn't go see Hillary because I support her. Nor did I go see her because I'm into politics. I went to see Hillary because God had put her on my heart. That's all. I'm glad he brought her to me. I'm glad I was able to pray for her while standing within arms reach. I'm thankful for how He orchestrated that whole series of events.

If you recall, in the beginning, I told you that I didn't care much for her, but God changed my heart. and when that whole series of events had passed the prevailing message from God that stayed with me was this, "Missy, I want you to love what I love, and hate what I hate. I love people. I hate sin."
So, all that to say, "no", I have no intentions of seeing the others, lest God has prepared a path that I don't know about.

Anita Renfroe Event
Well, due to lighting and other various issues, we don't have very many good pics from the set up or service Friday night. But, I'll share some that we have. What an awesome experience it was to lead that many people in worship. And to have the opportunity to work with Anita Renfroe. She was HILARIOUS!!! I laughed so hard, that I slobbered. :-)
Anita didn't arrive at the Hulman Center until about 6:30 (if I remember correctly)and the program started at 7p! So there wasn't much hanging out with her. She gave Kathy and I high five's when we came down off the stage from leading worship. So we were able to say a little something to her then. Then afterward, I passed her briefly behind the stage, just long enough to say "you were awesome!" She was very gracious. Her husband, John, had been with us all afternoon. That was fun to see him at work as he was getting the stage and sound and videos all ready for Anita. Here's a few pics from our day
